As a Senior Software Developer at Talonic, you'll be our first dedicated AI and full-stack developer, giving you a unique opportunity to directly shape our technology stack and have a significant impact on the company’s growth. You will be hands-on in designing, building, and optimizing systems that power our AI agents and data-driven products. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and is eager to contribute to innovative solutions in a rapidly growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI Development: Build and optimize AI Agents using LangChain and other state-of-the-art technologies.
• Full Stack Development: Work with the MEAN Stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js), with additional experience in React being a plus.
• API Development & Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain APIs to support AI-powered platforms and tools.
• Database Management: Utilize and manage MongoDB and ChromaDB for handling large datasets efficiently. You'll closely work with a senior data engineer on that.
• Innovation & Collaboration: Collaborate with our team on AI-driven solutions and brainstorm ways to further develop the platform.
• Bonus Points: Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is highly desirable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer or in a similar role, preferably within AI or tech start-ups. We are open to this being your first senior position if you can demonstrate your experience and determination.
• Proven experience in building and managing AI agents, ideally using LangChain.
• Strong background in full-stack development with expertise in the MEAN Stack.
• Solid experience with API design, development, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with Angular and ideally some experience with React.
• Additional experience with RAG is a major advantage.
• High agency, self-motivation, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. We value agency above all else when it comes to hiring.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Fluent in English.
