Questions about Extension and Renewal Extractor.

What does the extension and renewal extractor read?

The document number and date, the original contract number and date it amends, the extension type (enum), the effective and expiration dates, the renewal term length, and both parties names and addresses (party A and party B).

Which renewal and pricing fields come out?

The renewal conditions, the price adjustment and consideration amount with currency, whether an automatic renewal clause applies (boolean), and the renewal notice period each come back as fields, so the terms that changed at renewal are captured.

Are the renewed terms returned as tables?

Yes. The renewal terms table returns each term with its original value and renewed value, so a before-and-after of the amended terms is captured, and a parties table returns each party name, role, and address.

Does it capture the carried-over clauses?

The governing law, termination for convenience, cap on liability, anti-assignment, exclusivity, most-favored-nation, minimum commitment, audit rights, and insurance clauses each come back as fields, alongside the signature dates for party A and party B.

What are the file limits and privacy terms?

PDF only, up to 10MB and 100 pages. The agreement is processed via the Talonic API for extraction, is not retained for training, and is not shared.

Doing this to one file, or to ten thousand?

The tool reads a single document. The platform reads the whole estate once and keeps it queryable — the same engine, with a memory.

See document data extraction if you run this for legal and commercial teams, or the extraction API if you are building it in.
