Questions about Insurance Policy Extractor.

Which policy details are extracted?

Policy number, issue, effective and expiration dates, named insured and address, insurer name and NAIC number, coverage type, per-occurrence and general aggregate limits, premium amount and frequency, renewal date, and producer (agent or broker) details.

Does it work on ACORD certificates as well as full policies?

Yes. The field set follows ACORD form conventions, so ACORD 25 certificates and ACORD 125/126/140 applications map cleanly, including the coverage-lines table with per-line policy numbers, dates, limits, and deductibles.

Can it read property schedules?

It captures a property locations table: address, construction type, year built, building value, contents value, occupancy, and ISO protection class for each location on the policy.

What file types are accepted?

PDFs only, with a 10MB size cap and a 100-page limit.

Is the policy document kept after extraction?

No. It runs through the Talonic API and is not retained for training. You get the data and the file is discarded.

How do I get the data out?

Download buttons for CSV, XLSX, and JSON appear as soon as the extraction finishes.

Doing this to one file, or to ten thousand?

The tool reads a single document. The platform reads the whole estate once and keeps it queryable — the same engine, with a memory.

See document data extraction if you run this for underwriting and claims teams, or the extraction API if you are building it in.
