Questions about Corporate Tax Return Extractor.

Which figures does the corporate tax return extractor read?

The return number and date, tax year, EIN, and federal tax classification up top, then the money lines: total income, cost of goods sold, operating expenses, taxable income, tax amount, tax credits, total tax after credits, and the resulting refund or balance due.

Does it break out deductions and the tax computation?

Yes. The deductions schedule comes back as a table of deduction type and amount, and the tax computation as a table of description and amount. Interest expense, charitable contributions, depreciable assets, alternative minimum tax, and research and development credits are captured as their own fields.

Are estimated quarterly payments captured?

The estimated quarterly payments table returns one row per quarter with its payment date and payment amount, alongside the estimated tax paid and prior year estimated tax fields for reconciling against the balance due.

What filing and preparer details come out?

Preparer name, the filing state, effective date, and currency, plus the income statement table that lists each reported line item and its amount.

What are the upload limits and is the return kept?

One PDF up to 10MB and 100 pages. The file runs through the Talonic API for extraction only, is not retained for training, and is not shared.

Doing this to one file, or to ten thousand?

The tool reads a single document. The platform reads the whole estate once and keeps it queryable — the same engine, with a memory.

See document data extraction if you run this for risk and compliance teams, or the extraction API if you are building it in.
