Questions about Freight Invoice Extractor.

Which amounts does the freight invoice extractor read?

The freight charge, total amount without VAT, tax amount, total amount, and amount due, so a freight bill can be checked against the rate and audited without re-keying the figures.

Are accessorial charges and VAT broken out?

Yes. The charges table returns each charge type, amount, and description for accessorials, and the VAT breakdown table returns the taxable amount, tax amount, rate, and any exemption reason per VAT category.

What carrier and shipment references come out?

The carrier name and SCAC code, the PRO number, pickup and delivery dates, and the actual weight with its unit, plus the purchase order and contract references on the invoice.

Does it capture the parties and payment details?

The supplier and buyer names each come with a tax ID and country code, and the shipper and consignee with their names and addresses, along with payment terms, due date, the payment IBAN and BIC, and the remittance information for settling the bill.

What are the upload limits and privacy terms?

PDF only, up to 10MB and 100 pages. The invoice is processed via the Talonic API for extraction and is not retained for training or shared.

Doing this to one file, or to ten thousand?

The tool reads a single document. The platform reads the whole estate once and keeps it queryable — the same engine, with a memory.

See document data extraction if you run this for freight and customs teams, or the extraction API if you are building it in.
