Questions about Income Statement Extractor.

Which income statement lines are extracted?

The full waterfall: total revenue, cost of revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, operating income, interest expense, pretax income, income tax expense, and net income, plus research and development expense and selling, general and administrative expense broken out separately.

Does it capture earnings per share?

Yes. Basic and diluted earnings per share, weighted average basic shares, and a dedicated earnings per share calculation table (share type, net income attributable, weighted average shares, and the resulting per-share figure) all come back.

How are revenue and expenses itemized?

The revenue breakdown table returns each revenue source with its amount and percentage of total, and the operating expenses detail table returns each expense category with its amount and percentage of revenue. An income statement summary table lists every reported line and amount.

Does it work for GAAP and IFRS statements?

The field set follows concepts common to both frameworks, so statements prepared under US-GAAP or IFRS map to the same columns, including entity name, fiscal period, fiscal year, reporting period start and end, and currency.

What can I download and how big can the file be?

CSV, XLSX, or JSON, with each table exported per row. PDFs up to 10MB and 100 pages are accepted, and the document is not retained after extraction.

Doing this to one file, or to ten thousand?

The tool reads a single document. The platform reads the whole estate once and keeps it queryable — the same engine, with a memory.
