Questions about Property Tax Bill Extractor.

What does the property tax bill extractor read?

The bill number and issue date, the tax year, the property owner name and mailing address, the property address, the assessor parcel number, the assessed value, the square footage, and the property class (residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, or mixed).

Which tax and payment figures come out?

The tax rate or mill rate, the total tax amount and currency, the due date, the payment terms, the payment status, the late fees, the previous balance, the payments received, and the remaining balance due.

Does it capture exemptions and deductions?

Yes. The exemption description and amount and the deduction description and amount come back as fields, and an exemptions table returns each exemption type, amount, and status (active, expired, pending, or denied).

Are the tax components and installments returned as tables?

A tax charges table returns each charge type (base tax, special district, sewer, schools) with its assessed base, rate, and amount; a payment schedule table returns each installment number, due date, amount, and paid flag, so a split payment reconciles from the rows.

What are the file limits and privacy terms?

PDF only, up to 10MB and 100 pages. The tax bill is processed via the Talonic API for extraction, is not retained for training, and is not shared.

Doing this to one file, or to ten thousand?

The tool reads a single document. The platform reads the whole estate once and keeps it queryable — the same engine, with a memory.

See PDF to Markdown if you run this for data and platform teams, or the extraction API if you are building it in.
