Questions about Timesheet Extractor.

What totals does the timesheet extractor return?

Total hours, total overtime hours, and total absences for the period, alongside the reporting period start and end dates, the timesheet status, and the approval date.

Are the daily entries captured?

Yes. The daily entries table returns one row per day with the entry date, hours worked, project code, activity description, and overtime hours, so a full week or month comes back as rows you can total or bill against.

Which people and reference fields come out?

Employee name, ID, and department, the job title, the employer, and the supervisor name, plus the document number, document date, and employment start date.

Do timesheets from different systems parse?

The extraction reads content, not a fixed layout, so exports from time-tracking tools and spreadsheet templates both work once saved as PDF. Any free-text comments on the sheet are captured too.

What are the file limits and privacy terms?

PDF only, up to 10MB and 100 pages. The timesheet is processed via the Talonic API for extraction, is not retained for training, and is not shared.

Doing this to one file, or to ten thousand?

The tool reads a single document. The platform reads the whole estate once and keeps it queryable — the same engine, with a memory.

See document data extraction if you run this for people and payroll teams, or the extraction API if you are building it in.
