HR & Employee Records document extraction
HR and employee records encompass the full employment lifecycle — I-9 Forms, Offer Letters, Performance Reviews, FMLA Certifications, Payroll Registers, and Severance Agreements. Each document type carries PII, compensation data, benefits elections, and compliance fields governed by federal and state labor regulations. Talonic supports 52 HR document types across hiring, compensation, benefits, compliance, and separation workflows.
How Talonic processes hr & employee records documents
Talonic extracts each HR document against the Employee Records schema. An I-9 Form yields employee name, citizenship status, document title, issuing authority, and expiration date for each List A/B/C document. A Payroll Register returns employee ID, gross pay, deduction codes, net pay, and pay period dates per line. FMLA Certifications produce condition description, treatment regime, expected duration, and intermittent leave frequency. All fields include per-cell confidence and source provenance.
Why structured hr & employee records data matters
HR compliance failures — expired I-9s, missed FMLA deadlines, or inaccurate payroll records — expose organizations to DOL audits, EEOC complaints, and wage-and-hour litigation. Manual processing of Onboarding Packets, Benefits Enrollment Forms, and EEO-1 Reports creates backlogs that delay hiring and increase error rates. Structured extraction feeds HRIS platforms, payroll systems, and compliance monitoring tools, enabling automated verification, faster onboarding, and audit-ready employee records.
