Manufacturing & Quality Document Types
Talonic recognizes and extracts structured data from 53 manufacturing & quality document types out of the box. No templates, no training data, no manual configuration — every field is mapped through the Field Registry with per-cell confidence and provenance.
Manufacturing & Quality document extraction
Manufacturing and quality documents enforce process control, traceability, and regulatory compliance across production lines. The category covers Certificates of Analysis, FMEA Reports, Bills of Materials, PPAP Packages, Calibration Certificates, and Non-Conformance Reports. Talonic supports 53 manufacturing document types spanning automotive (IATF 16949), aerospace (AS9100), food safety (HACCP), and general ISO 9001 quality systems.
How Talonic processes manufacturing & quality documents
Each document is extracted against the Manufacturing & Quality schema. A Certificate of Analysis yields batch number, test parameters, specification limits, actual results, and pass/fail status per test. A PPAP Package returns the 18 PPAP elements including dimensional results, material certifications, and process flow diagrams. Statistical Process Control Charts produce control limits, data points, and out-of-control flags. Every extracted value maps back to its source region in the original document.
Why structured manufacturing & quality data matters
Quality data trapped in PDFs and paper forms creates blind spots in production monitoring, supplier qualification, and regulatory audits. Manual entry of First Article Inspection Reports, Lot Traceability Records, and Calibration Certificates delays disposition decisions and increases the risk of shipping non-conforming product. Structured extraction feeds MES, QMS, and ERP systems directly, enabling real-time SPC, automated supplier scorecarding, and audit-ready traceability from raw material to finished goods.
